That's according to Childline
They say the demand on their services is so high that they now urgently need volunteers in Cork.
11% of all calls received to the 24-hour national listening service for children and young people last year were classed as being at high levels of need.
Volunteers say issues that traditionally have been raised by 15 year olds are now being brought up by children as young as 12
