Children in Direct Provision experiencing racism according to new report

New research has found that children in Direct Provision have been called names and are experiencing racism.

A report by the Ombudsman for Children interviewed 73 children for their experience in Direct Provision.

The children spoke about hurtful comments including remarks like 'go back to your country'.

They also said teachers often did nothing to stop the stereotyping.
