Chris Fountain sorry for rap video
Coronation Street star Chris Fountain says he understands ITV chiefs had "no choice" but to axe him from the show. It's after video clips emerged online of the 25-year-old, who played Tommy Duckworth, delivering a foul-mouthed rap which included lyrics about rape. Chris Fountain says he's "deeply sorry" and "mortified" at embarrassing his colleagues and his employer. The videos, posted on YouTube, featured his rap persona The Phantom. The clips have been removed from the website.
