CIT Cancels Appearance By Controversial Polish Comedian
The appearance at CIT School of Music has been cancelled following backlash from the LGBT+ community.
Wojciech Cejrowski was scheduled to perform a stand up comedy routine at the School of Music next week, however the Students Union have confirmed to RedFM News that the performance will no longer go ahead.
The cancellation follows claims by critics that the comedian uses his performances to incite racism, misogyny and spread homophobic hatred.
Cejrowski is currently in Ireland and will perform in Dublin tonight and Galway tomorrow.
LGBT+ campaigners say they plan to protest his appearance in Galway.
