CIT lecturers set for Industrial Action
TUI members at CIT are to engage in industrial action from June 13th.
The row centres on a dispute about the appointment of a student counsellor at the college.
Staff say the terms of the advertised post were contrary to a national agreement between them and the institutes of technology.
Management at the college have been accused of ignoring the grievances of the staff by pressing ahead with the appointment which is to be put before the Governing body today.
