CIT Student & Members Of Family Die In Car Crash Abroad

A CIT student and four members of his family have died in a car crash in India.
35 year old Muthamil Selvan Palanivel was studying a masters in Artificial Intelligence and died while visiting his home country.
His wife, their two children aged seven and one and his mother-in-law also died in the collision last week.
The Indian Ambassador to Ireland will attend a memorial service for the family here in Cork on Monday.
CIT Student Union have expressed their sympathies to Muthamil's family and say student supports including counselling are available to anyone impacted by the tragedy.
