City centre business hits out at traffic restrictions on Patrick's Street

The owner of one of the longest established businesses on Patrick Street has publicly slammed the car ban introduced on the city's main thoroughfare a week ago.
Tung Sing has been operating on Patrick Street for 55 years and over the weekend the owners took to Twitter to hit out at the new traffic arrangements on the street tweeting that Easter in the city saw no traffic problems but equally saw very few people in town.
Frank Lee who owns Tung Sing says he fails to see how the traffic plan will help businesses on the street and fears it could lead to the closures of smaller outlets already struggling on the street.
Speaking to RedFM News Frank Lee says the car ban is having a direct negative impact on the delivery side of his business.
