City Council Have Given A €6 Million Upgrade Plan For The Docklands The Green Light
Councillors voted by a strong majority to approve the plan which includes works on Victoria road, the Old Blackrock road and Albert Quay.
The plan includes a pontoon with a floating garden on the river, public seating, walkways and a bike share kiosk as well as contra-flow bus and cycle lanes
The Irish Examiner reports that the vote came about after the Green Party said the public consultation process was flawed.
