City Council Must Undertake New Environmental Screening On Morrison's Island Flood Project
A European Court decision means the Council will not be proceeding with the Part 8 planning process which was the subject of a judicial review.
The Council says the new screening on the Morrison's Island project will be completed as soon as possible and will then be submitted to An Bord Pleánala for planning permission through the Part 10 planning procedure.
The Council says its important to note that it remains committed to the delivery of the full project and that no changes to the project design or scope are required or are being proposed.
