City Hall turns purple this week to raise awareness for rare condition CDLS

Only 24 people in Ireland are known to have the condition, symptoms of which include a very small head, hearing problems, digestive problems and challenging behaviours.
Eleanor O'Kelly Lynch's daughter Lauren was diagnosed with the condition at birth.
Now 25, she weighs just over three stone, wears clothes for nine-year-olds, is prone to reflux and is non-verbal.
Speaking to RedFM News Eleanor says she hopes that by raising awareness of the condition it will help others as little was known about the condition when Lauren was born and it was a frightening experience.
And if you would like to donate you can text FRIEND to 50300 to donate €4. CDLS will get a minimum of €3.25 from each donation.
