City Jet set to expand frequency of Cork to London link

RedFM News has also learned the airline is in talks about adding sun destinations to its schedule.
Leeside's newest link with London was formalised this morning when the inaugural City Jet flight to London City airport took off from Cork airport.
RedFM News has learned that as well as increasing the frequency of services from three to four flights per day in the coming months the airline is also planning to add sun destinations to its schedule.

Marine Minister Simon Coveney was at the airport this morning and he urged people to be universally positive about Cork airport and all it has to offer.

It comes on foot of another announcement this week at the airport where Norweigan Air confirmed they will operating Cork to Boston and New York flights out of Cork airport starting next year - the first transatlantic flights planned for Cork airport in almost 50 years.
