Clancy Inquest To Resume Today
An inquest will resume today into the deaths of a mother and daughter in North Cork just before Christmas in 2015.
The initial inquest last April heard that Geraldine and Louise Clancy both drowned after their car ploughed into a flooded ditch following a collision.
However it was adjourned to allow for completion of any criminal proceedings.
The occupant of the other vehicle, an unaccompanied learner driver, was given a 3 year suspended sentence last November for dangerous driving and was banned from driving for 15 years.
