Clancys Bar Criticised For Way In Which Employees Were Notified Of Closure

The manner in which employees of a pub in Cork were made aware of its closure has been criticised.
35 Staff at Clancys say they received a text message over night and were told not to come into work yesteday.
The AAA People Before Profit and the workers party have both hit out at what they say was unfair treatment of staff .
The Irish Examiner reports that one of the publicans involved in the company responsible for the closure has hit back says there's been no recovery in Cork and local authorities need to step up to support business.
