Clean Up Operation Underway In The City This Morning Following Extensive Flooding

High tide was at 8:35, however the flood waters have not yet receded.
Areas such as the South Mall, Oliver Plunkett Street, South Terrace and low lying quays around Morrison's Island are under water.

Elsewhere the main Carrigaline to Crosshaven road, Station Road and the Main Street in Carrigaline are impassable.
A contra-flow system is in operation in the square in Bantry.
