Climate Change Protests Have Swept Across Globe
Hundreds of thousands of people are demanding action from governments
Yesterday in Cork thousands took part in one of the largest ever climate protests on Leeside, organised by the Irish Fridays For Future group.
Later today, the United Nations Youth Climate Summit takes place in New York.
It comes ahead of a wider summit on Monday which will be attended by the Taoiseach and President, along with other world leaders.
Author and founder of the Climate Outreach Information Network, George Marshall, says if meaningful change is to happen, further demonstrations are needed:
