Co. Cork Worst Affected By Power Outages Following Yesterday's High Winds

While ESB Networks say power has been restored to most customers affected by Storm Deirdre
At the height of the storm, which was a category orange weather event, over 4,000 homes and businesses were left without power.
Meanwhile fire services say crews were kept busy yesterday and overnight in Cork with flooding incidents.
Fire Units in the city responded to call outs on the Black Ash Road, Balgarrivan road, Spring Lane Halting site, and Harbour view Rd with flooding requests.
The Road Safety Authority's Brian Farrell has this advice if you meet flooded roads:
