Cobh in shock after triple stabbing tragedy

A 21 year old woman remains in critical but stable condition at Cork University Hospital following a triple stabbing at her home in Cobh yesterday afternoon... Gardai are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination today on the bodies of her parents 53 year old Michael Greaney and his 49 year old wife Valerie who were both found dead in the family home at O'Neill Place in Cobh The alarm was raised by the couple's younger daughter, 16 year old Sarah - after her mother sent her to a neighbour's house to tell them to contact the gardai. Their eldest daughter, Michelle was found with a single stab wound to the chest lying on the roadway outside the house after fleeing her attacker Gardai say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbing and say the case is being treated as a tragic family incident. Speaking to RedFM News Local Sinn Fein Councillor Kieran Mc Carthy says locals are in complete shock:
