Comments by Indaver's Managing Director slammed by CHASE

John Ahern's comments were in relation to traffic congestion in the area.

Comments by the managing director of Indaver Ireland have been slammed by a lobby group opposed to the construction of a €160 million incinerator in Ringaskiddy.

In today's Irish Examiner John Ahern admitted to "feeling sorry" for the residents of the area prior to plans for the construction of the N28 which would ease traffic congestion in the area.

However the Cork Harbour Area for a Safe Environment says the N28 doesn't solve the problem and there's more issues than the effect it will have on Ringasiddy village.

Speaking to RedFM News Linda Fitzpatrick of CHASE says the site selection is unsuitable and pose major threats to those living and working in Ringaskiddy.
