Community Reeling following discovery of womans body
A community has been left reeling after the discovery of a woman's body in suspicious circumstances on the northside of the city this morning.
The woman in her 30s was found with serious injuries, including head and neck wounds, She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics who were alerted to the scene at around 3.30am this morning.
A man in his 40's, originally from Charleville remains in custody at Mayfield Garda Station.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them at Watercourse Rd Garda station on 021-4558260.
