Concern expressed about condition of iconic Shakey Bridge

Concern has been expressed about the level of decay one of Cork's most iconic landmarks.
It's emerged that Daly's Bridge, better known as The Shakey Bridge, which dates back to 1927, requires urgent repair and it's feared it could be closed to the public if action is not taken.
The issue is expected to be raised at City Hall for the city council’s chief executive will be asked to set aside funding for its repair.
It follows last week's announcement of plans to repair and restore St Patrick’s Bridge, which will be funded by Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
