Concern expressed for welfare of children in care in Cork

Concerns has been expressed for the welfare of children in care in Cork. It comes after a HIQA revealed 1,167 children in Cork had no social worker. Out of 27 areas examined by the watchdog only six met required standards, 19 needed improvement and in two standards, significant risks were identified.
