Concern Expressed Over Stalled Flood Relief Works In Bandon

Contractors conducting preparatory works on the river removed machinery from the site earlier this week
Traders in Bandon say they cannot understand why works on the town's flood relief scheme are at a standstill.
Talks between the contractors Willis Brothers Ltd and the Office of Public Works, are continuing in an effort to meet the deadline for commencement of works
on the 1st of May.
The nature of the problem hasn't been revealed but contractors conducting preparatory works on the river removed machinery from the site earlier this week.
