Concern Raised About Risks Posed To Ambulance Crews Responding To Call Outs Across Cork
A paramedic suffered a minor chest injury after he responded to a call last night in Mahon
The alarm was raised at around midnight after an unresponsive teenageer was reported at Elm Close
It's alleged that upon arrival the youth became aggressive with paramedics and assaulted one of the crew memebrs
Gardai were called to the scene and the 16 year old was arrested for public order offences.
His case is now being handled by a garda juvenile liason officer.
