Concerns conferences in Cork could be affected by Brexit

It's feared upcoming conferences which have been booked in Cork will be affected by Brexit.
A Cork Convention Bureau briefing which was held in the city this morning heard that this year alone €12 million will be brought in from 20 conferences that have been secured Leeside .
Cork City Council are being called on to hold a Brexit summit to discuss the challenges and opportunities that may arise once the UK officially leaves the EU.
Cork is set to become the second largest English speaking city in the EU and it's hoped that position can be exploited.
