Concerns over shortage of judges

The Dáil has heard claims that the Chief Justice has contacted the Taoiseach with concerns about a shortage of judges.
The claims were made by the Fianna Fáil leader Micheal Martin, who says the judiciary has major concerns about a shortage of members.
Enda Kenny has denied judicial appointments are being held up due to a row with the Independent Alliance.
