Concerns Raised About Youth Unemployment

New figures show that only one in four people aged between 15 and 25 in Ireland are working. It means that for every 10 jobs that existed at the start of 2008, six have now disappeared. The Small Firms Association is calling for active labour policies to reduce youth unemployment, including further reform of the apprenticeship programme.
