Concerns raised Leeside over closure of rural Garda stations

The lack of investment in rural stations has raised concerns that many communities in East and West Cork may see the closure of their local Garda station
Fears are high that many rural Garda stations across Cork are being earmarked for closure in the future.
The Garda Representative Association have raised the concerns following reports that 24 of the county's 76 stations do not have access to the PULSE system.
The GRA say the Governments lack of investment in these rural stations, could result in many communities in East and West Cork losing their local Garda Station.
Speaking to RedFM News GRA Cork representative Garda Michael Corcoran says the Government's refusal to install the PULSE system in rural stations does not bode well.
