Concerns raised over stability of Government

It comes following the deal on Garda pay which is set to cost the taxpayer 40 million euro

Concern is being raised about the stability of the Government following the deal on Garda pay. 

The Labour Court recommendations aimed at averting the first Garda strike in the history of the state look set to cost the taxpayer 40 million euro. 

Several public sector unions have been meeting over the course of this weekend to discuss the impact of the agreement - while the Communications Minister Denis Naughten is reported to have echoed concerns about the future of the cabinet to media outlets this morning.
