Condition of Kinsale teenager described as "up and down" following fall

The 18 year old fell off a flat roof at a nightclub last weekend.
The condition of a teenager who was injured after she fell off a balcony in Kinsale last weekend has been described as "up and down" by her family.
18 year old Ciara O’Brien, had just completed her Leaving Certificate at Kinsale Community College, and was attending a party at The Moorings nightclub, where she worked, when the tragedy occurred.
She fell off a flat roof at the side of the building and landed on concrete and sustained serious spinal injuries.
Ciara broke her back in the fall and her spinal cord was damaged and doctors at the Mater Hospital in Dublin don't yet know the full extent of her injuies and are hoping that with surgery and time that she will recover.
Her aunt Maria O'Mahony told the Neil Prendeville SHow that she felt the club were "insensitive" by opening for business as usual the day after her fall.
