Construction Of Endoscopy And Rehab Unit At Bantry General Hospital To Begin In 2020

The Health Minister Simon Harris today confirmed funding for the unit, which its believed will cost in the region of €5.4 million

The funding is part of a plan to develop and expand services at the hospital, including increasing surgery time from 2 and a half days to 5 days a week

An extension of St Joseph's unit and the refurbishment of the medical assessment unit has already taken place over the last two years.
