Consumer sentiment is at its highest for 17 years
That's according to the latest KBC Bank/ESRI survey for January.
However, some of the improvement last month is being attributed to seasonal factors.
KBC Banks' Chief Economist, Austin Hughes, outlines some of the reasons behind the boost in consumer confidence.
