Convicted sex offenders could be publically identified
The names and addresses of convicted sex offenders could soon become available to the public.
The Department of Justice says a law change is on the way which will see the details of convicted sex offenders released in the interests of public safety.
It follows reports last November that 18 registered sex offenders are living within walking distance of a number of schools near the city.
