Convoy of Irish aid to set sail from Cork to Calais

It follows weeks of fundraising initiative set up by a Douglas woman.
A charitable initiative which started in Cork is set to bring a convoy of aid to refugees in France.
The Ireland Calais Refugee Solidarity group was set up by Douglas woman Tracey Ryan and was sparked by weeks of media coverage of the refugee crisis across Europe.
The group's 'gofundme' page has raised over 84 thousand euro to date.
A medical team, three articulated lorries, six vans and 60 volunteers will set sail from Rosslare this evening.
It comes as the LE Niamh is due to return to Haulbowline tomorrow, after rescuing thousands of people in the Mediterranean over the last few months.
Speaking to RedFM News on her way to Rosslare, Tracey outlines what the group plan to do over the next few days.
