Cork airport are gearing up for Christmas
Cork Airport say they're expecting a bumper Christmas this year.
Over 50,000 passengers are expected to pass through the gates of Cork Airport between now and the new year.
That's up 7% on Christmas last year.
Speaking to RedFM News Head of Communications at Cork Airport Kevin Cullinane says the increase in Christmas passenger numbers is a sign of an upturn in the local economy:
