Cork Airport Say There Is A Transatlantic Demand Out Of Cork

They say they are working hard to get a new carrier in place
Management at the airport have confirmed that they are in active talks with three carriers after Norwegian Air announced it's pulling their US and Canada routes from Ireland in September.
The airline says the global grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft means the routes out of Cork, Dublin and Shannon are no longer commercially viable and all six routes to the US and Canada will be cancelled from September 15th next.
Speaking to RedFM News Managing Director at the Airport Niall McCarthy says they are working hard to secure a transatlantic route out of Cork from Summer 2021:
