Cork Airport Sees Continued Growth For Autumn
Cork Airport is continuing to see a rise in passenger numbers.
The airport welcomed an increase of 6,000 passengers last month compared with the same time last year.
Over 152,000 passengers passed through it's doors in November on the back of recently released figures from the CSO showing a decline in British visitors and an increase in North American visitors coming to Cork.
The airport says the increase in american visitors is Brexit-proofing the business by diversifying into new markets in Europe and North America.
Over 14,000 passengers have used Norwegian's direct Transatlantic route from Cork to Boston Providence since it was launched in July.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork Airport's Kevin Cullinanae says the increase is a postivie indicator of further growth in the region:
