Cork Airport shows strongest growth of all national airports

Cork Airport has shown the strongest growth in passenger numbers of all three national airports.

Figures released by the Irish Aviation Authority showed a 14% increase in commercial aircraft movement and passenger numbers.

Dublin airport showed an increase of 7% and Shannon was down by 1%.

Cork Airport also announced it's winter schedule including new destinations to Gran Canaria, Malaga, Tenerife and Southamption which are due to commence in October.
