Cork based Air Ambulance attended 127 incidents during the first three months of the year

Irish Community Air Ambulance crews were tasked to provide support to HSE paramedics in nine counties between January and March. 

The figures represent a 21% increase compared to the same period last year when there were 105 call outs. 

March was the busiest month so far this year- cardiac arrests account for the most incidents with 32 call outs. 

The Rathcoole based helicopter flew to 53 incidents in Cork.
