Cork branch of Pieta House busiest in country
Pieta House says their Cork office is their busiest one in the country.
The organisation says since October 2016 there's been a surge in people accessing the service.
It follows concerns about the rate of suicide in Cork and confirmation from the HSE about the implementation of a co-ordinated plan to deal with the issue.
Speaking to RedFM News clinical manager of Pieta House in Cork Sylvia O Driscoll-Wong says despite the increase in demand for their service there's no barrier to accessing it:
