A Cork Cervical Cancer Survivor says demonstrations like those planned for today are a vital show of solidarity
Carol Murray from Midleton is one of 221 women who received false negative smear test results and developed cervical cancer.
Standing 4 Women are staging 11 demonstrations across the country today, with protests in Ballincollig, Carrigline Midleton, Macroom and Youghal calling for immediate action from the HSE and Government as well as access to support for those affected by the scandal.
Speaking to RedFM News, Carol Murray is encouraging people to join them at this afternoon's demonstration
