Cork Chamber encourages people to shop local

Retailers across the country are preparing for a busy few days.
There are five shopping days left until stores close for Christmas day.
Listeners are being asked to shop local in order to support retailers in the city and towns across the county as Christmas marks the most important time in the retail calendar which creates jobs and retains money in the local economy.
Cork Chamber of Commerce is reminding people that shopping locally helps to support the survival and growth of these businesses as well as facilitating the establishment of more local shops.
