Cork Chamber of Commerce call for construction dates for the Events Centre

Concern has been expressed in recent weeks that work is yet to get underway on the project

Cork Chamber of Commerce are calling for a firm announcement on a construction date for the Events Centre. 

Concern has been expressed in recent weeks that work is yet to get underway on the project, despite the sod being turned on the development back in February.

Minister Simon Coveney moved to allay fears during the weeks, and said the only outstanding issues with the €50 million facility are in relation to internal design elements. 

Speaking to RedFM News ,CEO of Cork Chamber of Commerce Conor Healy says, it's important that works get underway as soon as possible.
