Cork Choir gear up for Eurovision entry

Cork's High Hopes Choir have set their sights on the Eurovision song contest.

The choir brings together singers who have been affected by homelessness.

They have enlisted the help of musician and French Native Fabrice Fortune who will be running writing workshops with the performers in Cork over the next few weeks.

They are hoping this will give them the winning formula necessary to represent their country in the largest singing competition in the world.

Speaking to RedFM News Caitriona Twomey from Cork's Penny Dinners says they are not a novelty act and are in it to win.
