Cork Christmas Markets A Huge Hit
The Christmas Markets and Bishop Lucey Park Illuminations run by the City Council in association with Cork's RedFM proved to be a big hit for the city at Christmas time. Over 150,000 peopled attended the markets over the Christmas period, that's up almost a third on last year. The Council has confirmed this morning that the Christmas Markets and Bishop Lucey Park Illuminations will return again this year. The festivities will run from the 29th of November to the 22nd of December - with the city's Christimas lights being switched on, on the 17th of November.
