Cork City and County Firefighters to climb Mount Everest equivalent Leeside

Firefighters are to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest today across Cork city and county in a bid to raise funds for the The Cork City Hospitals Children's Club
Firefighters at Cork City and County Fire services are to climb Mount Everest over the weekend without leaving Cork!
It's all part of a fundraiser in aid of the Cork City Hospital Children's club which will see firefighters, Gardai and HSE Ambulance personnel participating in a ladder climb in several towns across Cork and finishing in the city.
All funds raised will go to the The Cork City Hospitals Children's Club which takes deserving children on the trip of a lifetime to Disneyland.
Firefighter Steven O'Brien who is based at Ballyvolane Fire Station outlined today's itinerary on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM.
