Cork City Council is advising people to avoid unnecessary journeys tomorrow morning

The council is also warning of the possibility of flooding in the city later on Thursday.
Met Éireann say a band of sleet and snow will lead to accumulations of up to 5 centimetres between 8am Thursday and 8am Friday.
While it's not expected to be as severe as the Beast from The East, City Hall is asking people to stay at home if they can tomorrow.
Pedestrians and road users are being advised to plan their journey carefully if they must travel and to leave plenty of time.
Salting and gritting continues this week, however people are being warning that paths and roads may still be icy in patches.
The combination of rain and melting snow later on Thursday may also lead to flooding in parts of the city.
Elderly people or those self isolating who may need assistance are encouraged to contact the Community call line on 1800 222 226.
The City Councils customer service line is also open 9am to 5pm on 021 492 4000
