Cork City Council Nominated For Local Authority Award

Cork City Council has been shortlisted for the Local Authority of the Year Award 2017.
The council is up for awards in four different categories.
Hollyhill Library has been shortlisted in the Disability Services Provision category, as well as the councils Housing Directorate, which habe been shortlisted in the Local Authority Innovation category.
The Greening of GLOW initiative was also shortlisted for the use of green bins as part of the city's GLOW Christmas Celebration, and the Tourism, Events and Arts Market Office was shortlisted for its 1916 Commemoration Programme.
The overall winners will be announced at the 14th annual awards ceremony on November 23rd.
