Cork City Council to revert back to traders on Patrick Street car ban

It's after they raised their anger and concern over the ban and the removal of car parking spaces on Morrisons Quay.
Both issues were raised by angry traders at a heated meeting of Cork Business Association last night which heard that they believe there is a major problem in the city centre and trade is being negatively impacted.
Restaurant owners are already worried about the future of their delivery services which they fear they will have to abandon due to the private car ban on Patrick Street.
The Council has promised to raise their issues and come back to them with a solution.
Speaking to RedFM News Pat O'Connell of K O'Connells in the English Market, says if the Council wants to take people out of their cars there needs to be a viable efficient public transport alternative.
