Cork City Extend Free Parking Incentive To Two Publicly Owned Car Parks In Run Up To Christmas

Cork City Council has agreed to extend free parking incentives to two publicly owned car parks to encourage more people into the city centre in the run up to Christmas.
The move follows criticism from traders who say the Patrick Street car ban is having a negative impact on their businesses.
At a meeting of the City Council last night, City Hall said it will offer free parking at Paul Street and North Main street car parks from 5pm to 9:30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
The car parks have a capacity of 1,100 parking spaces.
