Taxi firms Leeside are reporting a surge in calls this week as commuters battle the morning chaos created by the Bus Eireann strike.

An all-out strike which swung into action on Monday show no signs of abating as bus drivers from across the country, including over 50 here in Cork, travel to the Dáil to take part in a nationwide protest.
Fears are mounting that the action could spread to Irish Rail and Dublin Bus as Bus Eireann union members say the strike will continue 'indefinitely' while cost-cutting measures are on the table.
Speaking to RedFM News Colin O'Mara of Cork Taxi Co-Op says the weather this morning has exasperated traffic Leeside, but in general they've seen a surge in business this week:
